Review Zones

The composition of time zone names uses a number of different fields in CLDR. The review chart lets you look over the results all at once, so that you can get consistency between the forms. For example, see the German review page.

Please review those charts for consistency as described below, and fix any problems that you run into.

The first two columns identify the timezone (metazone). For example:

Europe
GMT+00:00
British
*United Kingdom: Europe/London Vereinigtes Königreich Zeit

You should compare the items in each row for consistency row, and then compare the items in the same column across different rows.

For example, the following shows an example of inconsistency between two columns of a single row. The use of the hyphens in two cases stands out. The other cases use the name of the city without hyphens, since they are constructed from the city name and the pattern {0} Zeit. Consider whether it would be better to alway remove the hyphens, or to add them to the pattern {0}-Zeit.

Africa
GMT-01:00
Cape_Verde
*Cape Verde: Atlantic/Cape_Verde Kap Verde Zeit Kap-Verde-Zeit Kap Verde Zeit Kap-Verde-Normalzeit GMT-01:00

For example, the following shows an example of an inconsistency between two rows in a single column. Notice that the position of "Время" is different across the rows (starting vs ending the time zone name. Consider whether (and how) that should be made more consistent.
